Basic safety ideas to follow on your 4WD Tour
Always travel with a guide who has First Aid training and experience.
Always let someone know where you are going and when you are expected back. Give them contact details for you and the people you are traveling with.
Bring plenty of water, sun cream, sensible clothes.
Don't try anything in your 4WD vehicle that you aren't experienced / skilled enough to do.
Know some First Aid and 4WD Recovery basics yourself - may come in handy one day.
Have a Satellite Phone in your group. Most mobile phones wont work off the main roads. Usually the 4WD Tour operator will provide satellite phone - but check.
